Con più di 900 aziende partecipanti e con oltre 170 nomination, i Glomo Awards del MWC 2016 stabiliscono un altro primato e portano alla ribalta una serie di realtà che si sono distinte per la capacità di innovazione nel corso del 2015. I Glomo Awards hanno visto per la precisione 930 imprese che hanno accolto l’invito della GSMA e che hanno poi portato alle 170 nomination che a loro volta sono poi passate al vaglio della giuria dei Glomo Awards 2016.
Questo nutrito gruppo di innovatori è arrivato alla selezione finale delle imprese che hanno poi ricevuto i prestigiosi premi della Mobile community, per la precisione 38 riconoscimenti articolati in otto categorie: Connected Life Awards, Best Mobile Services, Social & Economic, Best Mobile Apps, Best Mobile Handsets & Devices, Best Mobile Technology, Government Excellence Awards, e Outstanding Achievement.
I Glomo Awards sono stati assegnati sul palco del Mobile World Congress con la conduzione dai presentatori TV Suzi Perry e Ortis Deley (nella foto) e con MIchael O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer di GSMA che oltre a ringraziare tutti i partecipanti ha ricordato anche i premi speciali come i “Government Excellence Awards” e gli “Outstanding Achievement” awards che includono i “Chairman’s Award” oltre a un premio speciale a “Connected Women Leadership in the Industry”.
